Ceremony - Kaira Looro

The project was developed as an entry to the peace pavilion architectural competition, Kaira Looro 2019 edition. The exploration of the project stems the belief that the journey to peace begins with a personal process of learning and acceptance, and then becomes an externalized expression of sharing and co-existing. The structure is meant to become a reference point for local and international communities in raising awareness and fostering peace in the previously war-torn Casamance region.
