Energy Retrofit Management for GII Labor Camps

GII wanted to reduce the energy and water consumption of three of their labor camps; GLC, GIISS, and DSA. A PEA was performed by grfn to understand the energy and water performance of these three camps and annual savings potential of 1.2M AED on water and 221,000AED on electricity and DC.Based on the PEA, a level-2 energy audit is performed to identify the ECMs to be applied to achieve the estimated savings.Additionally, a declared cooling load study was performed where the actual cooling demand is compared to the contractual declared load and it was found that a reduction in the declared load of about 21%-48% is to be achieved.
