Feasibility Assessment for Oman LNG

grfn was hired to carry a feasibility study for the implementation of District Cooling system in the Non Plant Area of an LNG plant in the Sultanate of Oman. The scope was to carry out:
1.Energy demand assessment to understand the existing and future peak cooling loads and the associated power demand & energy consumption
2.Study the heat rejection options and the best suited refrigerant selections
3.Design system configuration and piping network route and identify the requirements of the ETS
4.Typical ETS configurations and suitability for the site- financial and risks assessment along with a mitigation plan.
