Net Zero Carbon City Concept

Sustainability in all aspects is one of the main driving principles in the planning for the new city. The project aims at achieving carbon neutrality. This dictates that the facilities and the infrastructure serving them should consume the minimum possible energy consumption ratings. The project also aims at designing an efficient masterplan that achieves LEED Neighborhood and enables buildings to achieve LEED New Construction rating. grfn's scope was to develop the sustainability strategies and to develop the design concept of the District Cooling system serving the city.
