The Dubai Mall F&B Exhaust System Retrofit

GRFN was hired as the technical consultant for the exhaust rectification works at Dubai mall. The project encompasses a number of F&B Outlet areas in the Dubai Mall, which were redeveloped and enhanced by integrating the air filtration units with the existing kitchen extract air systems. The integration includes the interfacing with TDM BMS, fire alarm control, mechanical and electric modifications to meet the design intents, and compliance with UAE fire and life safety code. The mechanical and electrical systems design and installation was carried in compliance with the relevant local municipality regulations such as Civil Defense and DEWA Regulations, and other internationally accepted standards and codes such as ASHRAE standards, EN Standards, British Standards, NFPA Standards and Codes of Practice as well as Emaar Malls Group requirements.
